Why CareLynk360 for LPNs
Three things LPNs tell us matter more than anything else on a per-diem marketplace.
Hourly rates that match the work
LPN shifts on CareLynk360 are posted with the real, post-tax-withholding-relevant hourly rate. No "we'll discuss pay on the call" — facilities that need you put the number on the card.
See the unit before the chat
Every shift you're matched to shows the unit type, the staffing ratio, the supervising RN, and the facility rating from other LPNs. You walk into the chat knowing exactly what the shift looks like.
License-state-aware (LPN and LVN)
CareLynk360 understands that LPN/LVN licensure is state-by-state. We only match you to shifts in states where your license is active, and we verify against the state board automatically.
Frequently asked
Specific to Licensed Practical Nurses on the CareLynk360 marketplace.
Does CareLynk360 work for LVNs (California, Texas)?
Yes. LVN is the same role as LPN under a different state-board name. The CareLynk360 LPN role applies to both, and matching is driven by which state board issued your license.
Do I need IV certification to be matched to shifts?
It depends on the state and the shift. CareLynk360 surfaces the IV certification requirement on every shift you're matched to, and we only match you to shifts you're credentialed for. Many SNF and home-health shifts do not require it.
How are pay rates set?
Facilities set their own hourly rates — CareLynk360 does not. Posted rates reflect the local market, the specialty, the shift time (nights and weekends are typically premium), and how urgently the facility needs to fill.
What if I am only available a few times a month?
Perfect — that's exactly what per-diem is for. Toggle "available now" on when you want to be matched, off when you don't. No minimum shifts, no penalty for going quiet for weeks at a time.
What you need to start getting matched
- Active LPN or LVN license in the state of the shift
- Current BLS / CPR certification
- IV certification where required by the shift
- Minimum 6 months of post-licensure experience preferred
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Background check — upload your recent report if you have one; facilities typically run their own when they shortlist you
